Contemporary Organic in Cameron Park

This 1980’s home in Cameron Park is nestled in the trees, away from the bustle of the state capital. The Kitchen hadn’t been updated since the home was built and needed to provide a place for the retired couple to enjoy meals together as well as entertain family and friends. An L-shaped island was reworked into a large rectangle and the footprint of the Kitchen was extended out to provide additional space for chefs separate from guests. Stained cherry cabinets with flat-panel doors, quartz countertops, and a white subway tile backsplash with inset floral details above the sink and range give a clean, natural feel to the Kitchen. Black stainless steel appliances and decorative hood give a contemporary finish the Kitchen.
